6.90 ± 1.20 h after a single oral dose (rat, oral) — study. Read from a rat study that developed the assay for this compound and then used it: mean terminal elimination half-life 6.90 ± 1.20 h after a single oral dose, 3.80 ± 1.10 h intravenously, oral bioavailability 38.4 per cent. The abstract does not say whether that dispersion is a standard deviation or a standard error, and the full text is paywalled. A second study, in mice, disagrees in both directions: 6.3 hours intravenously, 13.3 subcutaneously and 14.8 orally, with oral bioavailability of 3.5 per cent — an order of magnitude below the rat figure, which its authors attribute to first-pass metabolism. Both are animal studies. No human pharmacokinetic study of this compound has been published and no human trial of it is registered, so no part of this has been measured in a person.
