Tripeptide-29 is the repeating unit of collagen itself: glycine, proline, hydroxyproline, the triplet that runs the whole length of a collagen strand, synthesised and sold as a cosmetic ingredient. The reasoning connects to something real — this motif and its breakdown product prolyl-hydroxyproline are the fragments known to act on dermal fibroblasts and prompt them to divide, migrate and build matrix. What is missing is an independent test.
