Oligopeptide-34

Pigment is made in one cell and delivered to another: melanocytes package melanin and hand the packets to the keratinocytes that make up the skin surface. Oligopeptide-34, sold by the Korean firm Caregen as CG-TGP2, is described as working on both halves — turning down tyrosinase and MITF, the enzyme and the master switch behind melanin production, and slowing the handover itself. That description comes almost entirely from the supplier. Three references are on file: the manufacturer's own data, a systematic review of underarm pigmentation treatments in general, and an animal study of a multi-peptide cosmetic. The peptide's sequence and registry number are both absent.
