CJC-1295 DAC

Mechanism

Binds the growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor (GHRHR) on pituitary somatotrophs as an agonist, causing release of growth hormone. Circulating growth hormone in turn raises hepatic IGF-1. The DAC tail forms a covalent bond with serum albumin, which extends exposure so growth hormone and IGF-1 stay elevated for days rather than hours after a single dose.
